Alloy 725, Inconel 725 ®

Quick facts & description:

High resistance to corrosion as Alloy 625 and age hardenable as Alloy 718 for extremely high strength. UNS N07725, also known as Alloy 725, Inconel 725 ®, has excellent resistance to pitting, to sulfide stress cracking (SSC), to stress corrosion cracking (SCC) and to deep sour gas well (DSGW), tp hydrogen embrittlement, therefore finds application mostly in:
 marine & submarine environment for naval and oil & gas markets such as stems and balls and bodies for subsea valves, high strength fasteners, hangers, PBR (polish bore receptacles), pocket lift mandrels,
 energy mostly within geothermal environment, such as blades for steam turbines in geothermal power stations.

Cr 19-22.5% ; 
Mo 7-9.5% ; 
Fe balance ; 
Nb 2.75-4% ; 
Ti 1-1.7%
